Regularly getting ten hours of sleep a night is one of the many things I miss about being a student. Today my interventions to look fresh and healthy consider buying overpriced highlighters.
Just like this one from RMS Beauty. The Living Luminizer is a stated holy grail by many international make-up artists. And who am I to ignore a well-intentioned advice?
Ok, almost $40 for a highlighter that’s so small that it’s barely findable in my beauty bag, is quite a lot. But the fact that this product is so multifunctional, convinced me in a second.
I mainly use it around the eye area, to highlight my brow bone, inner corner of the eye or cheekbone, but it can also be used to highlight your cupids bow for fuller looking lips or to optically modify the size and shape of your nose by highlighting your nose line.
One shouldn’t take a too light-hearted view on finding the right highlighter, since most of them hold chunky glitters and make you look more like you’ve spend hours in the kitchen than providing that subtle healthy glow we’re (at least I’m) looking for.
Good to know: Living Luminizer is all-natural and organic and made with coconut oil, vitamin E and rosemary extract. Not only good for me, but also for planet earth. Yay for that!
So, shine bright like a diamond!
Do you use a highlighter or how do you fake a healthy glow after a bad night of sleep?
